Babassu oil is obtained from the palm fruit, alternative to coconut oil, by mechanical pressing and full refining. The refined oil is clear with a typical mild odor and taste. The fruit, rather similar to a coconut, contains 3 to 8 kernels with an oil content of 60-70%. Babassu oil has a triglyceridestructure with fatty acids, a sterol-rich unsaponifiable fraction, tocopherols and tocotrienols. Softening, conditioning properties plus emulsion and foam stabilizing agent. Ideal for cosmetic and make-up preparations, body and hair, hygiene products, esp baby products, sun tan oils, lotions. Packaging and Storage Drum:      190 Kg Net. Storage:   To store in a cool (8°C - 12 °C), dry and dark place. Shelf life: 18 months (consignment date).
