Animal Squalane is a shark liver derivative which has good oily skin feel, slide effect and good dispersion on the skin, as Vegetable Squalane obtained by hydrogenation of Squalene, unsaponifiable fraction of Olive Oil.
Our Laboratory have tried to find in the vegetable world, some raw materials which could substitute animal Squalane and Vegetable Squalane.
POLYSSAN OL  is the result of many trials done in our R&D laboratory.
POLYSSAN OL is anhydrous oil, derivate directly from Olive Oil. This one has been combined with a copolymer obtained from Olive Oil and Glyceryl Oleate.
The result of this combination is a particular product very similar to Squalane, animal or vegetable origin, for what it concern its  properties in many areas of use.
POLYSSAN OL, all vegetable-derived, offers the significant advantage to be rich in all Olive Oil component, from unsaponifiable fraction to polyunsaturated fatty acids, without any chemical compound inside as for example hydrogenated fractions.
POLYSSAN OL has a very good oily skin feel, has a good slide effect and a good waterproof effect.
When applied to the skin, it is well absorbed giving a very fine skin feel touch.
It light film prevent also the moisture loss from the skin.

APPLICATIONS
POLYSSAN OL is a Squalane substitute , easily to mix with oily phase in all type of emulsions. Particularly interesting for its skin feel properties, it’s able to be absorbed by the skin giving a very fine skin feel touch. In lip-gloss give smoothness and maintain colors for many time. Very interesting use in any type of emulsions and light creams, giving a very skin no-greasy soft touch. Use level from 1 to 30 %.
