POLYTE EXTRA is a product from vegetable origin, which has similar properties as Lanoline from animal origin.
Lanoline from animal wool is a soft fatty paste which has a pleasant touch and a good “water absorbing” properties, which gives interesting properties to different types of cosmetics emulsions.
Our laboratories looked for these properties in the vegetable world and finally found some very interesting results with this vegetal based POLYTE EXTRA.
POLYTE EXTRA is an anhydrous paste made of mixed natural vegetable butters , and our Olive Oil Copolymer, particularly rich in Omega 6.
Hence giving a similar product to Lanoline wool ,with the same chemical-physical characteristics.
POLYTE EXTRA absorbs water up to 4-5 time its weight, resulting in a white paste, without losing its consistency.
POLYTE EXTRA is also an active cosmetic ingredients, thanks to the presence of actives in the raw materials in it’s composition: Unsaponifiable, polyunsaturated and natural moisturizing fractions.
The pleasant feel on the skin and the water proof properties give to our product very interesting characteristics when used in formulations,such as hydratation, skin protection and film forming properties (trans epidermis water loss) , and some interesting applications in the formulation of sun care products , as well as a good emulsion stabilizer when used as a co-emulsifier.

APPLICATIONS
POLYTE EXTRA EXTRA as a Lanoline substitutes can be used into all types of emulsions. Particularly useful as co-emulsifiers into all types of emulsions. For its water proof properties, POLYTE EXTRA is highly recommended to formulate sun care products, night cream, cleansing milk, massage emulsions, baby products, as it gives a very pleasant touch and good hydratation, without greasy touch. Indicated to be used into lip gloss, to have lightening effects, pleasant touch and protection.
Utilisation dosage from 1 to 50 %.
