CHARACTERISTICS
New natural vegetable products which have similar properties to Petrolatum.
Petrolatum is a petroleum-derivative which has good oily skin feel, slide effect and good dispersion on the skin.
Our Laboratory have tried to find in the vegetable world, some raw materials which could substitute Petrolatum.
POLYNA series is the result of many trials done in our R&D laboratory.
POLYNA series are anhydrous ointments derivatives directly from Olive Oil. This one has been polymerized with an Olive Oil derived, Glycerol Oleate, to obtain a particular product very similar to Petrolatum for what it concern its particular properties in many areas of use.
POLYNA series, all vegetable-derived, offers the significant advantage to be rich in all Olive Oil component, from unsaponifiable fraction to polyunsaturated fatty acids and Glycerol Oleate in his polymerisation form.
POLYNA series have very good oily skin feel, have a good slide effect and a very good waterproof effect.
When applied to the skin, they forms a light film which allow to maintain on the skin actives ingredients present on the formula, as for example UVA and UVB filter, moisturisers, anti-cellulitis, and so on.
Their light film prevent also the moisture loss from the skin..

Perfectly adapted as a gentle nourishing solvent-based make up remover in emulsion.
Used in styling products imparts shine and soft combing.
Increases moisturising and imparts smoothness to skin
Excellent carrier for wetting pigments and sun filters.
Very good waterproof skin feeling.
Not sticky, less greasy feeling than petrolatum
Imparts shine to lip-gloss
Two different melting points for different use.

APPLICATIONS
POLYNA may be employed in a wide range of skin-friendly emulsion systems (sensible skin emulsion, cleansing milk, make up remover, etc.) particularly indicated for child skin and very delicate skin. It exhibits excellent compatibility with all principals raw materials also as regards the formula structure of final viscosity.
Use level from 1 to 10%
