Macadamia nut oil refined is a unique oil due to its high content in Palmitoleic a monunsaturated fatty acid that avoids oxidation and fits with the skin’s fatty composition. Palmitoleic acid is found in human sebum among the young, but the level dramatically drops in mature skin. Macadamia nut oil exhibits a long shelf life and a good resistance to rancidity due low content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is an oil with minimal color and odourless. It applies easely and offers deep penetration and significant moisture retention together with high nourishing properties. It contains about 80% of monounsatured acids and a higher percentage of palmitoleic acid than in other vegetable oil.
